MANITOWOC Visits

MANITOWOC arrived in Erie on Friday at 1900 and docked at the Old Ore Dock to unload. Saturday morning the ship moved over to the Mountfort Terminal to load sand for beach replenishment. At 1700 Saturday MANITOWOC moved over to the North Pier to unload.

MANITOWOC DUE

MANITOWOC, laden with stone from Cedarville, is expected in Erie at 1900 tonight. After unloading, MANITOWOC will be loading sand at the Mountfort Terminal for discharge at the North Pier for beach replenishment.

MANITOWOC Visits, Departs

MANITOWOC arrived in Erie at 0400 on Saturday to unload salt from Fairport Harbor. The ship docked at the Mountfort Terminal, unloaded, and was outbound at 1000 bound for Fairport Harbor to load another cargo of salt. After spending all day Sunday loading at Fairport, the ship unloaded in Ashtabula this morning and is currently upbound on Lake Erie.

PALMERTON Departs; MANITOWOC Due

PALMERTON departed Erie this morning at 0800 bound for Montreal and eventually for Brazil.

MANITOWOC, with salt from Fairport Harbor, is expected to arrive in Erie at around 0300.

MANITOWOC Visit on October 8

Below are images of MANITOWOC arriving with stone on October 8. MANITOWOC unloaded at the Mountfort Terminal and departed at 0500 on October 9 after waiting on wind at the dock.

BOLAND Visits; MANITOWOC Due

JOHN J. BOLAND arrived in Erie at 0130 on Thursday morning and docked at the Old Ore Dock to unload a cargo of stone. BOLAND backed away from the Ore Dock around 1000 hours, turned in Presque Isle Bay and departed for Ashtabula to load a cargo of coal for Serpent Harbour, Ontario.

MANITOWOC is expected in Erie at 0730 on Wednesday morning with a cargo of stone.

MANITOWOC Visits; BOLAND Due

MANITOWOC arrived in Erie this morning around 0100 and docked at the Mountfort Terminal to unload salt from Fairport Harbor. MANITOWOC departed around 0615 bound for Fairport Harbor to load another salt cargo.

MANITOWOC Visits; YANKEE Emerges from Drydock

MANITOWOC arrived in Erie at 1330 on Sunday and docked at the Old Ore Dock to unload stone from Cedarville, Michigan. After unloading, MANITOWOC moved over to the Mountfort Terminal to load sand. MANITOWOC shifted to the North Pier to unload at around noon today.

YANKEE was removed from drydock late last week and docked in the West Slip. The tug's refit at Donjon Shipbuilding & Repair continues.
