OLIVE L. MOORE Arrives

Articulated tug OLIVE L. MOORE arrived in Erie at 0030 this morning and backed into dock on the east side of Donjon Shipbuilding & Repair, across from the EDWIN H. GOTT. MOORE is expected to remain in Erie for the winter.

OLIVE L. MOORE Due

Tug OLIVE L. MOORE, light tug, is expected in Erie at midnight. The tug left layup at Toledo, where it's barge LEWIS J. KUBER is currently laid up, this morning.

KUBER, GOTT Arrive for Layup

JAMES L. KUBER arrived at Erie at 0400 on Wednesday, January 16, and docked at the north face of Donjon Shipbuilding & Repair. The barge, and tug VICTORY, will be put into drydock this week for a five year survey. Barge JAMES L. KUBER will be painted grey at that time.

EDWIN H. GOTT arrived at 1430 on Friday afternoon, after spending Thursday night at anchor off of Erie, and backed into the Old Ore Dock. GOTT is here for topside work.

EDWIN H. GOTT ARRIVES

EDWIN H. GOTT arrived in Erie at 1430 on Friday, turned in Presque Isle Bay and docked at the Old Ore Dock at 1615 for winter layup. I will post photos later today.

KUBER ARRIVES; GOTT DELAYED

VICTORY/JAMES L. KUBER arrived at Donjon this morning at 0400. The duo docked at the north side of the pier, facing west, before turning around to moor starboard side to. EDWIN H. GOTT remains at Detroit unloading and should arrive Erie sometime tomorrow. I will update when I learn more.

VICTORY/JAMES L. KUBER are due to dock on the north wall at Donjon at 0500. The duo will go into drydock next week.

VICTORY/JAMES L. KUBER are due in Conneaut at around 1800 tonight to unload iron ore. The duo should arrive in Erie for layup sometime tomorrow morning.

PRESQUE ISLE Arrives

PRESQUE ISLE arrived in Erie at 1800 today, after spending the day at anchor off of Erie, and docked at the Mountfort Terminal for winter layup.

Tug VICTORY/barge JAMES L. KUBER are expected in Conneaut tomorrow evening to unload iron ore, and will be in Erie Wednesday morning for drydocking. EDWIN H. GOTT will be in Detroit early Wednesday to unload, and will tentatively arrive Erie on Thursday at 0600 for winter layup.

PRESQUE ISLE Update

PRESQUE ISLE is expected to depart Conneaut after unloading its final cargo of the season at 1600 today. The PRESQUE ISLE should arrive in Erie sometime tonight or tomorrow morning for winter layup at the Mountfort Terminal.

I will provide a better ETA if one becomes available.

PRESQUE ISLE Next for Layup

PRESQUE ISLE will be arriving Sunday night or Monday morning for winter layup at the Mountfort Terminal, depending on weather and the vessel's cargo clean out procedure.

EDWIN H. GOTT should arrive Wednesday or Thursday for the Old Ore Dock. Tentatively, tug VICTORY/barge JAMES L. KUBER should be arriving on one of those days for drydock at Donjon Shipbuilding & Repair.

TECUMSEH ARRIVES FOR WINTER

TECUMSEH arrived in Erie this afternoon at 1600, docking on the east side of Donjon Shipbuilding & Repair. TECUMSEH moved to the West Slip at 2000, after McKEE SONS was winched to the other side of the slip, and remain there for topside repairs for the winter.

At least three more ships are expected for the winter in addition to McKEE SONS and TECUMSEH.
